About 4 PM?

“It was about four in the afternoon” (Jn 1:39)

The encounter between Jesus and the first disciples has always mesmerized me. It has been the subject of several articles, homilies, and lectio divinas. The Gospel of John puts the time of encounter at "About 4 PM" and thus I entitle my blog.
I am Fr. Joel Camaya, a priest of the Salesian Society of St. John Bosco. I love literature, philosophy, theology, and Sacred Scripture. I love listening to music and I love watching films. I teach, I preach, and I write. What better way to share these interests and activities than by means of a blog?

I consider every entry as an encounter with the one who calls "Come and see." Yes, it is about 4 PM.
